The A/B split testing script we previously recommended is no longer supported by the author so we've stopped recommending it.
Whilst it was good and came at a very appealing price (free), many people found it frustratingly complex and wasted a lot of time trying to get it to work. The author was very generous in providing free support to such users, but now that's no longer available it's in the 'too hard file' for most of us.
We've looked around for alternatives and really like the excellent hosted service provided by Vertser. It's not free, but it is affordable, very effective and EASY to use.
In addition to simple A/B testing of landing pages you can also do Taguchi Multivariate testing which speeds up testing considerably. Check it out - www.vertster.com
